Kokoro - Reservar uma mesa

I ordered sweet and chilli chicken with noodles . The chilli chicken was a bit sickly sweet , and lacked any real chilli hit . The noodles were pre cooked and dishes out of a pot behind the counter . For £6.95 I’d have rather paid a bit extra and gone to the kebab shop . The kebabs are cooked white you wait . This shop was one I was really looking forward to giving a go . Instead of being a new Uxbridge gem it’s a bit of wasted opportunity to bring a decent new business into the area .

I am a big fan of Itsu and mainly use the place opposite JL in Reading. Kokoro is similar in some ways (food offerings etc. but not quite as good. Portion control is better and the open kitchen allows you to see your meal as it is being assembled (Itsu does this in their kitchen most of the time However, the meat and overall dining offering is better in Itsu. Uxbridge is fallow ground for this type of diner so I rate its appearance and general offering highly.

Always crowded, great taste and hope it will grow and beat the like of itsu/wasabi. Generous portion (a bir too much rice)

Best chicken katsu and sweet chilli halal chicken ever! Don’t forget to try if you visiting uxbridge
