After their self-confidence claiming how they are forgiven, we would ask for a table. After a long time of waiting for the Wiatress (40 minutes for drinks) we wanted to go almost as our idea of a fast business lunch was different. because the beer garden was not even half full and other tables were waiting and complaining, we decided to stay as we got the promise that the starters and the main course would come quickly. What we experienced was not a good meal. Okay taste is something different, but we still had to wait 25 minutes for the salad. One of us got his fat Schnitzel all the others had nothing to eat. Finaly we decided to get hungry. When we tried to tell the manager at the checkout, she was absolutely not open to hearing what we were driving forward. No apology, not even a thank you when we paid. This is not what we presented our guests as bavarian leisurely. In the evening in Munich we ended. We decided to bring each of our business partners to this restaurant. This was completely unacceptable and not recommended.

I telephoned late afternoon for the same night. Fortunately, rooms were available. The rooms are completely renovated and very elegant and comfortable. The mattress is one of the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel and I 've stayed in several 5 star locations. There are large modifications that are currently taking place in the adjacent entrance building. It should not have started until 8:00, but the workers were there early. On the positive side I was in the time for the breakfast buffet I really enjoyed, especially the Hildegard von Bingen Vollkornbrot. Despite the noise, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. If you believe that the noise would disturb you, ask for a space removed from the construction site. Before you go, make sure you look into the abbey church.

We have eaten lunches and dinners here on five occasions (2005, 2011 and 2015), and we have never been disappointed. Traditional Bavarian food, excellently prepared with professional, friendly service. We also highly recommend the hotel that is part of the same operation.

The evening meal is great, but be careful, as this is a popular place and is busy. The breakfasts are excellent and would recommend them. The choice of wine is very good and the service good

Very old restaurant situated in the old town of raitenhaslach. Food is simply delicious. Restaurant is huge, come here if u want to sample good bavarian food.
