We'd stopped here for a drink so thought we'd try it for an evening meal.We wanted to go on a Saturday evening and needed to book to get a Table.It seems a very popular venue attracting locals as much as Tourists as far as we could see.It has a nice vibe and the Server we had was very good, although she rushed us a bit but that's a minor criticism.We had the sharing platter to start which comprised Emu, Alligator and kangaroo.I fess to skipping this but the rest of our party found it interesting.When the main courses came I thought I'd been transported to Texas, so large were the portions.In fact they were so big that I found the Brisket I had too much for me and others similarly struggled.It lacked a certain quality as, in spite of the portion sizes, we might have finished our meals had they been better prepared, cooked and presented.We had a passable Red CabSav.In summary I'd focus on smaller but better quality and more imaginatively presented meals.However it did seem a very popular hangout.

We walked past the place, saw their game tasting plate and knew we had to eat there. The tasting plate consists of kangaroo loin, crocodile tail fillet, emu chipolata sausages and buffalo rissole. Everything was DELICIOUS!! The meat was cooked to perfection and everything well-seasoned. We especially loved the croc tail, not very often that we see it on the menu, let alone having it cooked perfectly. Our dinosaur beef ribs were also fantastic, meat falling off the bone and the sauce was rich and tasty. The waitresses were also super friendly. Would definitely come back next time we're in Airlie Beach, what a gem!

We stumbled onto this one during a walk through town. It was a nice find. Was really the only steak house we visited on our trip and everyone seemed very happy. Service and food were good. The steaks were a little over cooked but not too badly. All in all I would go back again.

Fortunately we didn't get as far as trying the food.This was race week and they knew it would be busy. Staff training is a must these days.

We enjoyed our dinner so much we came back on he second night. VAlue for money. Staff lovely. I am vegetarian and there were options.
