Kandela - Reservar uma mesa

We booked Kandela as we were looking for the best steak in Santander. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. Staff were attentive and helpful. Meat was very well displayed and the coal fire made the mouth water. Unfortunately, the steak was cold,not at all cooked. There was no taste of the coals off the steak. It was the worst steak I've ever had out in a restaurant. I sent back the steak twice. Terrible quality food.

We came here at the end of the season and were the only people until 10pm when 3 more arrived. We had a fantastic friendly waitress the food was high quality especially the oxtail in chianti. The wine was reasonable in price and excellent in quality. High quality table with linen cloth and fresh flowers. Lovely evening.
