While on a weekend trip to Adelaide for the royal show, we decided to try something different, there was a filipino restaurent that some friends had told us about in Norwood that we should visit. Well, I'm sure glad we did, the food was sensational, we had the sizzling chicken sisig, lechon baboy (roast pork) as well as some filipino BBQ skewers, the pork belly was a bit fatty but it always is, the sisig was a revelation to the tastebuds. The menu is not extensive, but what they do, they do well. We had a thai meal the night before, and as much as the food was nice there too, the cost was twice as much as the filipino food. I can't wait to go back again to try the pork sisig to see which is my favourite, the only complaint is the amount of seating, but there is a big table that everyone is welcome to sit at and make new friends, even if just for the night, it must be authentic too, because most of the clientele were from the Philippines.
