Kalamata Mediterranean Cuisine

We have a condo in SOBE and usually stay on Ocean Drive to eat. We ventured over to Washington to see what new has opened and saw Kalamata.What a great choice. This Greek restaurant is quaint and nicely set up with a bar and outdoor seating. The atmosphere was really nice but the service was over the top.We enjoyed the food and the ambiance and the waitress came over and talked to us about the restaurant and the chef. There is another Greek restaurant in the area but the service is just ok. This is my recommendation if and when your looking for Greek food.Had the Salmon and the Chicken shish kabobs also the hummus and Turkish tea after the meal.

The lamb here is TASTY. Food is fresh.. and feels clean and healthyInstead of rice you can get bulgar.. salad comes with pretty much all the entreesSat at the bar and Baris was OUSTANDING.. made me feel comfortable and well taken care ofIf you like spice.. they’ve got a sauce they make in-house.. and it’s HOT. Might be worth a try

Everything was so delicious and on point. Fresh and seasoned to perfection. We were so excited about our meal that I forgot to take pics... super bummed about that! But if you love Mediterranean food or are Mediterranean food curious this is the place to go!!Vegetarian options: Many naturally vegetarian options

Excellent service. Very personable and attentive staff. Owner stops by the table to greet and make sure everything is good. Food is right on spot.
