Kaffeehaus Winterberg

we had a very good lunch and coffee in this restaurant. it is located in an old house, but to our surprise had a very beautiful and relatiw modern interieur. the service was with a smile and very excellent. we had a late lunch with suppe and local speciality with broth, iron and salat. eating was excellent and not expensive. the restaurant offers free parking, which was also a bonus, as this can be a bit laborious during the busy winter season.

best in town. with a cup of good coffee you can relax and enjoy delicious cake. located in a typical old building, it is a cozy coffee house, while the interieur has a refined ambiente due to the presence of art. the service is as it should. especially for English-speaking guests the right choice in the toilet search is facilitated by the note on the wall: “Men left because women are always right”.

the coffee café and bar is housed in a traditional house dating from 1791 in the center of winter mountain. it was in the possession of a painter for a time and still has quite an artistic radiance. the coffee was good and generous. the cake was good too.

Although we were there in the summer, we wanted to try their beautiful looking cakes. we were so impressed that we returned several times. as everywhere in winterberg we found the service friendly and helpful, and the cakes were delicious!

exactly the right thing on a cold winter day, after skiing or maybe before. large selection of cakes, freshly baked. good coffee.
