After finding Jucarlo last year wwe worried that it would not live up to our expectations, no worries it is a fantastic place. We tried a few of the restaurants in the old town including Can' Costa and none of them come anywhere near this little cafe in terms of the quality of the food and value for money. This is the best tapas we have tasted anywhere and I would say that if you are going to visit Alcudia and don't try it you are missing a treat. The locals eat here and we were the only Brits on most of the times we visited. Nobody speaks English but we never found this a problem and we were happy to go with the owners reccomendation from tne menu, even though half of the time we wern't sure what were getting. Jucarlo is hidden away in a backstreet just off the marina and the only reason I didn't write a review last year is because we didn't know the name, the only reason we know now is because it is printed on the menus, there is nothing else to show you what it is called. I think the locals want to keep this place a secret.

Came as a family looking for affordable traditional Spanish/Mallorcan fare. Ordered the acorn fed iberico pan amb oli and it was enough to feed 4 as a main course. At 30€ that is an incredibly cheap meal. It consisted of multiple types of wonderful bread topped with tomato garlic and a range of cured meats and cheeses. There was also one topped with homemade salsas and huge anchovies. The garnishes of pickled chillies and incredible pickled seaweed really finished the platter off perfectly. We did try to order further dishes but the waitress warned us off due to the size of the platter. Very good advice. They also had a superbly rich and buttery Rioja which complemented the food very well. One slight thing to improve would be the addition of a high chair as they did not have one. Overall a very traditional and unbelievably affordable restaurant who specialise in cured meats.

It essentially open sandwiches. This doesn't sound great but don't judge unless you try. Pamboli, which I have spelt wrong, is toasted bread with olive oil and tasty toppings. 4 of us, 2 adults, and 2 kids. We had the 30 Eur platter and added garlic prawns. We had a bottle of wine and other drinks. All fed and happy for 55 Euro. The meats are fantastic and I don't eat anchovies but they were fantastic. Simply great. Their food matters to them.

Went here for coffee, beer, wine and meals as well as Tapas. A small simple Spanish Bar with big portions and good prices. Family affair and used by the locals. Plates of Ham and Chorizo were excellent. Good wine list available. Coffee the best I had in Alcudia.
