Came in at 1PM on Saturday, May 7. This location is disrespectful, rude, understaffed. Multiple things have happened when I was there. Me and my husband were very hungry and saw this location on Yelp since we were in the area. When we got in, there was a couple with a baby in front of us and a couple behind us. The first couple (African American, wearing matching red shirts) orders their food for to-go. While me and my husband ordered for here. After 10-15 mins, an African American door dasher comes in and the cashier immediately gives the to-go food to her without asking who is the order for. The wife tells the cashier that she gave her food to the wrong person and the cashier was very defensive saying No I gave it to your wife and the wife tells her No you gave it to the wrong person. Me and my wife came in together . Again, the cashier says Yes and you both came in together, and I gave it to your wife . This was back and forth and and the wife raises her voice. The cashier was inconsiderate, rude, and disrespectful to the couple. She assumed the door dasher was the wife and immediately gave the food just because she was African American. The second wife comes in and tries to compromise and talk to the cashier and wait for the new order to be made. Once the order was ready, she and her wife left. Not even 5 minutes later, the phone rings and I assume it was the couple from earlier. I 'm pretty sure the cashier forgot something for the togo order, but the cashier is yelling on the phone and then slams the phone back down. As for me and my husband, we ordered 2 banana smoothies, 1 chicken combo, 1 garlic butter shrimp. All of the plates comes with 2 rice, 1 Mac salad, a **** ton of lettuce as a bed for the protein. I get my order first and it was a decent amount of size, we had to wait another 5 mins for my husband to get his food. When we saw the food, we literally were too shocked to speak. It looked terrible, the lettuce was old, and the shrimp was literally baby shrimp. It literally looked like a pinch of shrimp (less than 10 pieces). I never send food back to the kitchen, but with this dish I had to. It was ridiculous to pay over $15 for that plate. I spoke with the cashier and she literally says well that 's what it looks like, it has only 15 pieces and she disrespectfully grabs the plate back and counts the shrimp for us, and says that there 's 15 pieces, which was clearly wrong. I counted it myself before even telling her. She didn 't want to refund us and demanded us to take it back. Again, we said no and that if we can 't get a refund, wel just get another item. My husband then got the chicken katsu to replace the garlic shrimp, which is $2-3 less than his original meal. When we finally got the new order, we ate it. It was not worth the wait. The one hour experience we had there was a **** show. Families after us had mixed up orders from the cashier. I don 't understand how this place got too many 5 star reviews. Terrible experience, rude customer service, Mediocre food. Never again. Save your time, save your money.
Stopped in for bbq chicken plate lunches. Chicken tasted very flavorful and was a generous amount of food. Being from hawaii I was surprised at how much I liked their macaroni salad. I'm usually picky about that. Complimented the flavor of the chicken perfectly. Also noticed that the chicken didn't have much fat or skin on it which was a huge plus. Prices were fair, will return soon.
only a few fried chicken bought from this place and the chicken was not only undercooked, but as soon as they break the skin, a very bad foul smell came out of the hawn. it was so bad that my favorite has hurt to smell only. I'll never eat here important, and you're not so nice that you live.
