Jewel's Bakery Cafe

This is my first time visiting this 100% gluten free bakery. I don't normally have fried food so the Millionaire Chicken and Waffles with the cinnamon donut holes and real maple syrup made me really sleepy. It was nice to enjoy it guilt free though. Looking forward to trying the dairy free cheese curds next time. The hot Press coffee was really good. No free refills on the cold brew coffee though. The lemon raspberry cookie, strawberry cheesecake cookie (not dairy free), and the blueberry scone were all good. Appreciate that they make vegan, nut-free and soy-free baked goods. Room for improvement: the biscuits and gravy was undercooked and doughy and the eggs weren't cooked over-medium as requested, the potatoes were pre-frozen. The plastic plates and mugs and dollar store flatware leave a hollow feeling. I will make the hour drive again one day to try the chicken sandwich, cheese curds and more bakery items.

Came here with a friend who is allergic to gluten and had the most delicious gluten-free breakfast and desserts. Will be coming back!
