Jalsha Takeaway

I have been getting takeaways from Jalsha for over 30 years. I have never had a bad meal in all that time. I don’t normally like Chicken Tikka Massala. I find it too sweet and sickly but from Jalsha it is lovely. I like their Chicken Korma as well. I normally get a Bombay or Sag Aloo with it and they are lovely too. I find that the Naan bread is good. I’ve had just a few Chicken Madras’ and have enjoyed them. I can’t speak for the other items on the menu. Recently I phoned an order through and the ‘Boss’ answered. He’s always very pleasant to me. He said come in half an hour which I did and the food was ready. When I got home I needed to put the food briefly in the microwave for the first time. This is definitely not going to stop me going to Jalsha’s for, in my opinion, excellent food

Have been regular customer for years, ordered online and received a call to say order would be an 1 hour 10 mins, went round to collect I was told it would be another 30 minutes and my order would be delivered. after a further 45 minutes I called and was told another 10 minutes and food would be delivered. NO DELIVERY ARRIVED. I finally went back to the shop they denied all knowledge and the little man on the desk was so rude, he spoke about respect, disgusting liar. Don't use them. The poor girl that works in the shop looked so uncomfortable. I've witnessed the way he speaks to people previously whilst waiting for food. Don't use them, poor, poor customer service. Shouldn't take orders if they can't fulfill them. I will never use them again.

I have been a customer for over 5 years and always order at least once a week. The food is Superb and is cooked to perfection. Only downside is it takes time to cook, but the website says it takes 55-80 minutes to deliver, which means I have time to sort out the wine for the evening. I don't normally write reviews, but having seen some of the negative ones on here, I thought I would like to write a review to say thank you to Jalsha and all it's staff. Many thanks.

Ordered. Meal turned up early. Sadly not ours! Our order still in kitchen apparently. About 1.5 hours later correct meal arrived luke warm so had to microwave. Totally mediocre. Such a shame. Used to be good. Won't be risking it again.

This is the 2nd time we tried the Jalsha give it ago and again awful. Cauliflower Bhaji mush cooked in burnt oil. Chicken phatia Jalfrezi chicken dry. Peppers raw. Waste of money. DO NOT ORDER!
