Izumi Sushi And Hibachi Steak House

The place is really big and and they don't seem to utilize the space as optimally as you would think.. The service was very good. The servers were all very nice and attentive enough. The food quality was very good. I often order for delivery from this place also. Overall I feel the food quality is very good which is very important when you're ordering sushi and sashimi, raw fish! Lol. They have some creative dishes and presentations Of their sushi and sashimi as well pictured on the menu. The hibachi It's very good quality food and although we didn't sit at the hibachi table that time we heard the antics and it seemed like a lot of fun over there. Extremely disappointed in both the service and the food. I asked if they could swap out the tempura in one of their rolls and replace with fresh fish, but they refused. I would have been willing to pay an upcharge for it but they simply refused. I instead ordered one of their standard rolls (king crab roll) it was incredibly dry and flavorless. Luckily, I ordered spicy mayo and some mango sauce on the side which made it palatable. The restaurant was dirty and not well taken care of on top of the cashiers bad attitude. I wouldn't recommend this spot, there are plenty of good sushi spots on LI. This isn't one of them.Dietary restrictions: Not willing to make accommodations for dietary restrictions.

Came an hour before they closed with my friend and got rushed to finish (we were only there for 30 minutes)Atmosphere was nice, felt like a typical upscale asian fusion restaurantFood was good, about the same as every other Asian restaurant I 've been toVegetarian options: Good amount of safe vegetarian options (especially sushi)

I been here twice, and both times my food was cold. Last time I order shrimp and vegetables tempura, it was cold and old food, it’s looked like it was standing in the kitchen for a long time. I only ate the rice because it was warm. I don’t recommend this place at all.Food: 1/5
