Italia Pizzeria Velez-malaga

Unfortunately I can not recommend this restaurant. Me and my family went here because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor have about this restaurant on their website. Perhaps they have changed ownership or something else. Me and my wife ordered their frutti di mare pasta and can only say that I have never been to such a messy pasta. My expectations were not exaggerated but I had expected that a restaurant serving Italian dishes should still be able to make such a right without failing overall. Anyway, the dish except spaghetti consisted of one to two shrimp (I had one my wife got two as well as clams without shells (I guess it was from can , crabstick (why I can understand if there was a pizzeria in the north Sweden, but here in southern Spain, a mystery. Then it consisted of tuna (from jar This whole dish smelled old shrimp and was totally inedible. It looked more like meat sauce than tomato that it usually does. I pointed out to the waiter that the food did not smell good, and he immediately removed the food and apologized. We asked if we could order pizza instead as it felt safer. Which was no problem. Unfortunately, I can not recommend their pizzas either. My wife order pizza with only tomato, cheese and mushrooms. There was a mistake again, mushrooms from can instead of fresh. The pizza was not thin and crispy as you would expect from an Italian restaurant. The pizza was exactly round as it was stopping in some kind of round shape and it was thick with very much stock cheese (I have realized that many in Spain like a lot of cheese but ... . What are they doing?

Food looked really nice, just wished I had ordered the pizza instead of the very poor tasting carbonare. Unsure of the desert spoonful of meat as in was minced pork and not beef, in a bland sauce. The Chicken Caeser Salad was good.

Food was plane macaroni was pennie pasta in bland sauce this is Spanish take on a Italian I would not eat here again service was good

Came here again after enjoying dinner here in our last visit. Very nice pizzas, friendly service and excellent value

Ate early evening so not busy. Good choice and I recommend the salmon linguine, but that just my opinion!
