Isle Of Ely - Reservar uma mesa

I've been here three times now and each time I've encountered long waits despite the pub only having a few customers. The first occassion I ordered a chicken wrap and the chicken was rock solid. As I was in a hurry and had waited minutes for the food I ate what was edible and left. The second occassion I ordered drinks via the app to be delviered to the table because of my friend's concerns over COVID, they sat on the bar for over minutes. When I went to complain they said they'd had no staff to bring the drinks over despite there being hardly any customers in the pub. The last occassion we waited a very long time for the food. When it came almost none of it was edible, everything overcooked. We complained and the manager was apologetic and helpful where she could be. After three visits with such poor service however I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend the place.

Visited yesterday and although it was visibly very busy with a long queue to get drinks, the queue was quickly dealt with and when we reached the bar the staff were extremely friendly even under the pressure they must have been under, the pub was...full with a great atmosphere and looking around there wasn’t a dirty table in sight. To be honest, when arriving we did consider going elsewhere but I am so glad that we stayed service was individualised and the staff made time to recommend drinks and discuss options with us. Honestly felt so welcome and will definitely be revisiting! playlist was also amazing)

We found this lovely pub by chance. We had never been in before until weeks ago. The food is excellent lovely and hot and tasty. Great atmosphere with the staff. We went on Sunday for the Sunday Roast. Absolutely Gorgeous lovely Roast beef and Lamb shank with gorgeous roast potatoes and veg. A Yorkshire so big with fantastic tasting gravy. Also shared the Eton mess which was the best one ive had for years. We've been in today my partner had a steak I had the lamb shank. Well done to you all. We really felt like old friends.

It was my mother’s funeral. And myself and my family came their to toast her life. And I must say Sandy was amazing so caring and helpful with drinks food. She’s a credit to this bar. And her staff were brill to. Must say Thankyou Sandy and the girls.

Quick service with a smile, delicious food by Kyle today. Katsu curry best I’ve had in ages. Lovely victoria sponge too.
