Island Naturals

Like other reviewers I find they do not have as many great vegan options as most natural grocery stores. Compared to other places like Mana Foods on Maui, the selection is much less and the prices seem at least 50% more and Mana is not cheap. Iceland Naturals wore vegan candy bars from Go Max Go, but I haven't seen them for a year. Things I like will disappear sometime. You have a good selection of local products, especially some exotic fruits that you find nowhere. You also have more types of bananas than I have seen in every store in Hawaii. Years ago they had wonderful vegan carrots and lemons poppy cake. When they stopped me finding some reasons to go there. Some of their baked goods are still good, and the vegan Focaccia bread when it is fresh is amazing. Nowadays, vegan staples like Daiya and Earth Balance can be found for far less in places like Safeway.

well stocked with vegan products and foods: tofurky deli slices, miyokos cheese, vegetable milk and yogurt, brot (which did not have 50 ingredients other than those they can find on the island), chocolates and sweets, frozen were, personal care products and detergents all they expect to find in a well-stocked health food shop. they also sell fresh fruits and vegetables, but had a pretty bad choice. has a sandwich and smoothie bar, which also serves hot coffee, a prepacked refrigerator with few vegan options and a hot bar without vegan option. some items are very expensive, others are at a fair price.

Here visited family and was ecstatic to find a place to get snacks food on our needs. A large amount of options in snacks, prefabricated food option to build your own sandwich / burger. Found a plant based creamers my favorite kombucha also. I feel like the prices at the same price back home in California. What really surprised us! The vegan chocolate chip cookies were DELICIOUS. Must have two!

here visited family and was ecstatic to find a place to eat snacks on our needs. a large amount of options in snacks, prefabricated iron option to build their own sandwich / burger. found a plant based cremer my favorites kombucha also. I feel like the prices at the same price back to home in California. what really surprised us! the vegan chocolate chip cookies were so delicious. had two!

limited vegan options and lots of meat. an unpleasant staff. I have no idea what people like about this place, except that his only natural food business in pahoa.
