Island Creamery

This is the best ice cream I have EVER had by far. I've had homemade ice cream from lots of places that were very good, but none of them comes even close to Island Creamery. And the scoops are seriously huge, I would say they're probably double the size you'd get anywhere else. The wallops rocket fuel is a really good flavor I recommend trying, I wish I could eat it all the time now. I'm not even a big chocolate ice cream fan and it is my favorite flavor. The cinnamon and

I am very impressed by this place’s Covid precautions. They took our order outside, we were inside for a minute, and then waited outside while they brought our ice cream! There’s lots of flavors such as peach, strawberry, mocha, and a couple others. I got the peach, but was hoping it would have been made from fresh peaches. It tastes more like canned peaches. My mother got the mocha and it was definitely coconut based. Would be good if you like coconut ice cream.

During our re-visit to Berlin on a Monday, all the tea and dessert eateries were either closed or the one that opened closed at 3 pm. So, we visited Island Creamery which had milkshakes (they will make them thin on request) and so many flavors of ice-cream. We had a strawberry milkshake and single scoop sundae with vanilla ice-cream. Generous portions which we could not finish. Strong recommendation and plus for the owner diversity hiring.

Honestly some of the best ice cream I've ever had, and I'm not even that big of an ice cream person. Definitely the full fat, full sugar deal (but if you're going to eat ice cream, may as well go all out, right? I like that you can get a single scoop, which is a pretty decent helping, and have them split it into two flavors. There can be a line but they move it along pretty quickly.

I heard about the fresh made waffle cones and had to try them. I had one scoop of cookie dough ice cream in a waffle cone. Very good. Friendly staff. There's a nice seating area outside.
