I may not be ordering from Insomnia Cookies again. I have received the wrong icing a handful of times now. I always order buttercream which is delicious by the way and when I received my order I could immediately tell that it was cream cheese. I cant have cream cheese. I used to live in Chico and this happened several times. Tonight it happened again and I live in Sacramento now. I dont know why its so hard to get the correct order. Buttercream is white. The cream cheese is more of a cream/yellow hue. And yes, I tasted a tiny amount. It even smells like cream cheese. Start marking the bottoms of the containers or just slow down and make sure you have the correct product. Also, sometimes the cookies are amazing, warm, and soft like they just came out of the oven and sometimes they are more stale and like they are heated up in the microwave which cooks them even more. Tonight my cookies were not warm, pretty hard on the outside and I would say the very center was decent. Why is there no consistency? This company seems to have gone down hill. They used to be great. As far as DoorDash I nomally have had great customer service. Tonight it was a nightmare. Disappointed.
The Salted Caramel is DELICIOUS!! For sure my favorite. Oatmeal Raisin is also very good. Confetti is another favorite. Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate are both so yummy. The Cinnabon Bun one was not very flavorful though- definitely my least favorite cookie Ive had at this place but overall the cookies here are bomb! I only wish they would always arrive warm- when they get here cold theyre not as good.
I ordered, peanut butter chip cookies, they were so good, excellent!! The only problem I had, it took forever to be delivered. Insomnia Cookies uses their own drivers, so it took a long time and I had to call the store twice. Other than the that, my family and I truly loved them. We will be ordering again, next time we will pick them up.
Dare I say this...?? These cookies are as good if not better than homemade cookies and Im a damn good cookie cooker with 50 plus years of baking experience !! They are quite pricey but for a special occasion or just a relentless case of the munchies these babys will hit the spot !!
