From the street this does not look the most inviting of restaurants but the Ibis Hotel recommended it. Appearances can be deceiving. There is quite a large area in the centre of the restaurant which seems strangely bare but the tables are mainly up on a balcony which is not easily noticed from the street. There is a small outside balcony. The service was very attentive despite there being two large groups. There is a wide choice on the menu though not much fish. The food tasted very fresh indeed, with large portions. Everything is cooked to order no cheating with a microwave so there will be time to drink and chat between courses. If you get to the desserts I would be most surprised. Make sure you have something with frites you'll get a bowl full freshly cooked. The pizzas looked excellent I'll go back to try them the next time I stay at the Ibis Bahnhof.
I and my wife arrived by chance at this restaurant . we found a very nice and quiet environment, seen from the street it might seem like a typical Italian restaurant but then once entered you understand that it is not since the owner approaches, a very kind person who takes care of the customers. they offer a typically Italian menu even if not very rich but for us it's okay like this. the first time we took a paste to the harp and we were speechless for how it was done well, because even if it is a simple dish you find it made very bad in many restaurants. discrete the choice of wines. However we found ourselves well and also prices are right for basile. then to recommend.
