Ihop - Reservar uma mesa

On the evening of 4/25/2024, I tried to place a takeout order over the phone while driving from Miami Lakes. It took me seven attempts starting at 8:23pm, as I kept getting disconnected right after hearing the automated message before finally reaching someone. When I arrived at the IHOP at 9696 Sunset Dr, Miami, FL 33173, I noticed only one car in the parking lot and one table with four customers. There was no one else present. The only employee was sitting alone in a booth with the phone in her hand. As I waited on hold on my phone for her to answer, she ignored me and rudely hung up the phone in front of me. She continued to ignore me when I tried to speak to her and eventually walked away. When she returned, she asked if I was going to order or leave, and when I requested to speak to a manager, she threatened to call the police to remove me. She refused to give her name and appeared to be deliberately unhelpful to customers. I was shocked by her behavior and left the restaurant without being able to place my order. It is clear that this employee lacks respect for customer service and is driving customers away from the restaurant. I advise others to avoid this IHOP location to avoid a negative experience like mine. The unprofessionalism and disrespect shown by this employee are unacceptable, and I hope that IHOP management takes action to address this issue.

The waiter was pleasant, but the table was sticky from syrup. I had to request water and the syrups were watery. Overall, it was not a good experience.
