Just want to point out and apologise to owner for not writing this update earlier. He called me back on he Monday afternoon after the complaint and could not be any more apologetic..further to that he said he will personally send out the exactly same full order , cook and deliver himself which he promised and did and went over and above needless to say it was first class all round. Every deserves a second chance and they deserve every praise. Will be back and thanks again sorry its taken me so long to follow up !!! Original complaint but follow up first class.........from 2 stars to a fully deservedly 5 +star s Most upset and disappointed with the service quality of food and attitude. Firstly ordered food was an hour and half late , had missing items from the special platter. 2 chicken legs does not warrant being classed as half a chicken , there was missing fried chicken and no burger or Ben and Jerry ice cream. Called regarding this and was told would be sent out in 20 minutes. Dished out the pizza and chips for the kids but this was stone cold and rubrey. Re called them to inform them how disappointed i was with this and was told sorry really busy. No offer or refund just that they would re pick up all the food. Was too late for that as you try taking food away from agitated young children 2 hours later! Any way asked them if they could carry on with missing items being sent out. 1 hour and half later nothing. Phone alway engaged. When i got through was told sorry about that very busy must have got forgotten. Will send out soon. 15 min later man turns up with just ice cream telling me Manager said order was correct! Sorry but did not get what i ordered. Dont often spend 40 quid on take out delivery and now i know why. Highly disappointing. What a shame NOTE we are busy is no excuse for poor service poor delivery not as described and last if not least Cold food. If you cant fulfill don't bother!
I had always avoided this place because when it was huckleberry it was apalling (and it is a little unfair, but many of the bad reviews here are on google, from when it was still huckleberrys and not chickena). she saw that she had changed the hands on the other day and thought I would try. like the peri peri huhn and the peri peri chips. the fried chicken is also really good beats kfc hands down. there is a really good chicken chain in the usa called popeye’s, and that tastes quite the same thing that is great. how blackegger would say... I'll be back!
I've ordered 7 times from here and eating is amazing. her peri peri huhn is really good and the pizza is incredible. everything I've tried so far was so delicious. I really recommend this place. it is also nice to support this little business than the kfc around the corner.
