Hotel Royal - Reservar uma mesa

Had dinner here - Salt and Pepper Squid and Confit Atlantic Salmon.The S&P squid was ok, standard pub type. The salmon, unfortunately, was very dry and overcooked. It came with bok choy and shitake mushrooms finished with soy sauce and served with lemon gel. Now, I envisioned something different, but what I got was nice bok choy with a little soy and super salty and sour mushrooms - the lemon wasn't on the side, it must've been cooked into the mushrooms. The dish also came with rice (not mentioned on the menu).The staff were lovely, but they must have been very short staffed as we didn't see them for the duration!

Firt visit: goode impression. This is quite a large and rambling suburban hot4el (no accommodation) with a great-looking dining room, a separate sorts and drive-thruough 'bottlo': there is a saloon/lou8nge bar and a gaming room with separate bar.goode choice of beverages ande we found the coffee excellent.There is a kerb-side bar off the main bar which is great to watch the world and its traffic pass by.Barista was both efficient and friendly and should be complimented for the service.good pub will be back to test the extensive menu soon.

We went here for dinner.Lovely decor.Quite like the art deco look.Love, love the fireplaces (especially on the cold of winter.Waitresses lovely.Waiter needs retraining.Very poor attitude.Rude. Condescending and arrogant.Weird attitude.We noticed other guests thought so too.Food lovely. BUT small,small serves.Other guests thought so too.Have spoken about this before.Hasn't been rectified.Will not be going back.Plenty of other pubs in this area to make our new "local".Christine.

we had upstairs private room the room for around 30. Staff were excellent with our own bar and bar staff. Reasonable prices but a bit of a mixed bag with the food. Schnitzels were burnt and dry. salt and pepper squid was pale and not crispy but beautifully cooked.

Food and staff great made an enjoyable outing with friends even better. The Groupon deal that got us there in the first place was excellent value.
