Hotel Reutemann-Seegarten Stolze-Spaeth Hotels

I've been coming to Lindau for 18 years. I love this place, atmosphere, people, lake, ships. When I am there, there is always a special and unique moment something sweet at Hotel Reutemann Restaurant. I've never eaten all dinner, but I always have coffee and a sweet desert. There's always something beautiful and Toasty. about it is also a beautiful place right in the heart of the port with the view of the coming and going ships. it is a wonderful and relaxing place. Last time I was there, I ate cream, the best I ever had. On the surface of the cream there was a bed of fresh egsotic fruits and a circumference of mango ice. Delicious desert. The staff is always helpful and polite. They speak several languages. The hotel and restaurant are a very nice and posh building.

This review concerns only the restaurant. On a busy summer day we opted for this centrally located restaurant right next to the harbor. The tables are placed on several levels so everyone can have a great view of the goings-on on the promenade. We ordered...vitello tonnato, which was just excellent, and stewed veal in a cream sauce with little dumplings (OK, but not necessarily recommended). The highlight however was our waiter – unfortunately I didn’t note his name – who was as friendly, upbeat and attentive as one could wish for in a waiter. Our complements to him; a tall, 30-ish German man.

Great people watching while gazing out at the harbor. Nice tables with sturdy umbrellas. The grounds are trellised so that everyone has a view of the harbor and the passersby on the pallazo between the water and the restaurant. We had lunch here twice, which...we absolutely loved. Two wiesswurst served Bavarian style (in boiled water) with a pretzel, sweet mustard and a dark beer, all at reasonable prices. Killer good. Excellent service from a young waitstaff. DG

Had a delicious lunch on the terrace overlooking the beautiful Lindau port. Very elegant, beautiful service, no Musak just the sun, good food and good beer. Lindau is a magical place and really worth a visit.

Comfortable hotel near port and railway station. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. No air conditioning or fans in rooms and no welcome drink offered despite visiting a bike tour.
