What is particularly impressive here is the food, service and sourcing of the food. I had the burger, coleslaw, a beer and a glass of wine all made on the premises which means I had the ‘0’ menu. Helpfully, they mark on the menu where the food comes from and it is easy to eat locally. The food was delicious and the service excellent. The setting was sunny and relaxing with a mix of family, younger and older patrons clearly enjoying their experience. I ate dinner outside but it is worth venturing into the restaurant to see the huge operational water wheel. The best burger I have ever eaten!

the kartaus ittingen is worth a trip per se. the monastery area invites you to walk and stay. afterwards you can strengthen yourself in the restaurant mühle. the restaurant has a terrace area in the klosterhof and is very idyllic and quiet. highlight is the original mill wheel, which has been integrated in the interior and continues to rotate. eating is good to very good - the service could be a less attentive. also great: on the map you can find 0 or 5 kilometers of courts, where all the ingredients come from their own goodshof or from the adjacent locations. on all cases worth a trip

We were visiting the Karthause Ittingen and decided to stop at the restaurant for coffee. We chose a table outside and were served by a friendly waiter. The coffee we ordered was delicious. We did not have time to stop for lunch but the food we saw looked well prepared and very tasty.

the karthaus is idyllic. the restaurant is very nicely furnished and has a lassy garden economy. the feeds are made to a large part of self-produced foods. very good quality and friendly staff complete the whole.

We very muched loved this restaurant before and now it's a big disappointment. The food was below average. Very sad as the location is outstanding.
