first I was annoyed as I entered the local in the historic building from the road and settled in the visible part. first I noticed that it took until the service appeared. then I could order and soup/seed came very fast. during eating I had to find out that I landed in a smoker cave, because suddenly the other tables were smoked. since I am no longer accustomed to this from the canton zürich, I only saw the small note that it is the smoker part when leaving the room. this sign belongs to the door that you could see it well, if it had an ashtray on my table, I would have noticed it. so I felt swinging, because I hate cigarette smoke, only right at dinner.The midday menu is cheap (17.50 for three walks) the zuccheticrèmesuppe was very fine (incl. cream hood). The mixed salate was strong greenish but quite good (to little sauce). On the other hand, I waited very long. the spaghetti were of a rather spicy amount, the salad deco leaf was superfluous, the sweet totally boiled and unfortunately salted. the fine piccata milanese (unfortunately also desalinated: the boil seems to have lost its palate through constant oversalination) swam in a very fatty sauce which should theoretically pass through as tomato sauce. in reality were tomato pieces in this undefined, very strong garlic-containing sauce. if garlic dominates so much in sweet and spaghetti sauce, this is not only a pity for the meal, but also a grace at the workstation for the fellow humans. lovingly then again the small lemon carving and the fresh raspberry.The espresso was amazingly good and more favorable (3.70), the wc fell on me as modern (incl. decoration.)

if we are close, then it is clear that we eat in the lions in sirnach.Three lunch menus for 17.50 - fr. 19.50, including super suppe and salat. the best restaurant for lunch menus in eastern Switzerland. I've never been disappointed here.Negatively, you can note that there is still a smoker area. from there comes a little smoke into the non-smoking area. The lunch menu during the week always comes very fast and it seems always freshly cooked, not warmed up!A visit on the afternoon is worth a visit.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The boss Jimmy is very nice and accommodating. If you feel spontaneously hungry, prepare a plate at 11 p.m.

I am staying as a single person. Bed squeak is quite disturbing. Cleanliness is good. Transportation is easy, location is good.

very cozy atmosphere. the price performance ratio is also true. the summer salad was heavenly even with fresh fruits
