We had a Sunday lunch in the bistrot section (there is a formal dining room as usual in Swiss Auberge communale) with 2 other tables being occupied. Finding a restaurant opened in these villages on a Sunday is not easy (excepted if they are gastronomic). We had Burger Birolan (Birolan From Bière), Papet Vaudois, Atriaux vigneronne with Rösti (mashed potatoes) and Coffee Gourmand (with several home made pastries). All these dishes are typical of Swiss cuisine. Kitchen was a bit slow but this was for sure because everything was prepared on the spot. We liked what we eat and prices were in line with Swiss crazy prices, may be a liitle bit lower (CHF 150. for four of us, with 6dl Rosé and 2 apéro Blanc Cassis). Service was OK. We would for sure stop again if we happen to drive in the area.
