Hotel Restaurant Canal

After a long drive in torrential rain, we were desperate for a meal. Restaurant Canal did not disappoint. We had confit de canard at Included potatoes, grilled tomato and mushrooms set in egg. Really delicious and well presented. Also glass of red glass was very acceptable. Service spot on, and lovely staff. Would use again like a shot.

twice in the last few weeks we've eaten here. If you can get in, you'll eat well from a menu respectful of the true French heritage. The food is hard to beat and the service is excellent. By the way, the bill is a pleasant...surprise. I recommend the menu du jour.

Very difficult to find anywhere open in holiday season, so we were happy to go here. not a great choice of food, but excellent quality. Not recommended for strict vegetarians as it's fish or meat. Friendly, good service and very pleasant traditional decor

We enjoyed a delicious lunch menu at this light and airy restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was fresh, tasty, plentiful and well presented. The house wine was very good too. We would definitely go back.

I've lived here on and off for three years and at last I've eaten here! Excellent food and really impressive service. Good value also. We had the menu which was worth every cent. Loved it.
