What a great place to have a superb steak or scrumptious fall off the bone spare ribs. Our whole ski team, Alpine and Nordic sat down for a fabulous meal with prompt and very friendly service. All the food arrived at the table in super fast time without any mistakes including all the drinks and side orders despite the amount of people, that is very impressive. Great night out and awesome food. Thanks guys!!

I'm staying in the town for 3 weeks & out of all the restaurants this is by far the best to eat. All meat is locally Sourced & free range and you can taste the difference. Good value for money & the owners Dirk & Janette are lovely and very welcoming. So lovely to find a place so down to earth& committed to delivering top food at a fair price ❤❤

The Holzstube provided us with a great place to eat and drink. Nice atmosphere and locals seemed very chattyThe hosts were warm and friendly and the food was very tasty with very good size portions.Arranged a taxi home for us as about a 25 min walk to and from town , nice to do if not raining .Do give it a visit- we hope to again some time.

Family run steakhouse with special atmosphere. Ideal place to hang out with friends after long day spend by walking in the surrounding forests. The steaks were delicious and weiss as well :-)

We had such a pleasant visit. Steak was cooked to perfection, potatoe was awesome as well. Staff were so very kind. If ever in the area again, we will be sure to stop again!
