Hoellgrotten - Reservar uma mesa

The location is special: next to the Hölgrotten, in the Wald. The house has a distinctive Swiss view. We went here two times in the summer. The restaurant is very popular with locals due to the location and the activities that are regularly organized. This means you can forget to sit inside without a reservation. You can eat her a honest traditional Swiss meal with rösti, trout or bratwurst. But it is all a bit greasy and salty. It is actually a much better choice to go for a big salad: tastier and healthier (and I usually like to go for the greasy stuf! . The service is 'Swiss ' meaning not to ask for anything special. On the terrace there is a sign saying no service: you have to give your orders at the bar. They serve Baarer Bier, which is nice but it was not so cold. I wouldn 't recommend to go to this restaurant for the food but a visit to the Hölgrotten is definitely something you should consider.

Pretty little grotto, I had imagined it to be a little bigger, but what you see is wonderful. There are 2 cave sections. There is sufficient parking space. To get to the entrance to the cave, however, you have to climb a small mountain . Drinks, ice cream and souvenirs are available at the ticket booth downstairs. Definitely worth a visit!

One of the most beautiful and interesting caves I’ve been to. There are 2 sections, both are beautiful, there’s even an underground lake and gorge. Such an amazing experience. Don’t miss it, when you’re around

This nice restaurant in the middle of nature offers a small, but excellent, selection of dishes. Local products for local recipes, great combination for a nice meal out.
