Hillstone - Reservar uma mesa

I've been going to Houston's now Hillstone on/off forever, in various locations. I will say the service has stayed the same, very good. However the price of their Veggie burger has gone up numerous times from $24 to $16 to $18 and this night jumped to $21.99. Now I like the quality but it is a veggie burger not meat...and I tend to top on the high side always more than 20%. I appreciate good service but not a veggie burger being just a bit less than my mom's beautiful fish meal or a steak sitting next to me! Anyway, enough of that... They have the option of reservations (make them early or come during off hours) and free parking or valet. Sunday early is nice to sit outside not as cold (I have a thing about freezing cold restaurants I had pants and a sweater on and still froze). No shorts for me! Bring a sweater! The bathroom is cleaned regularly from the looks of it. They are full most of the time so if you are nervous about Covid ask about a reservation for one of the four tables outside under the beautiful trees overlooking the lake. Most folks tend to dress up a bit and work nights and Friday nights especially, it is packed. The food, our veggie burger is tasty but again the price has us rethinking about going again. Perhaps trying something new.

Amazing experience from start to finish. When we walked in we were greeted immediately and escorted to our table. It was kinda small for our liking so we asked to be seated at a different table and they managed to give us seating we liked much better. Keem greeted us and gave a run down of the menu, giving us quality explanations and guiding us through some of the restaurant favorites. We ordered a Thai steak salad, deviled eggs, The Hawaiian and Knife and Fork Ribs. Everything was beautifully plated and a wonderful combination of flavors. I highly recommend the Thai steak salad, but everything was really quite delicious. The cocktails were pretty good but the service and quality of food is really what stood out (besides the restaurant’s ambiance and design/layout). Keem was fantastic and and he made our experience that much better. Well done, Hillstone.

Came because of the reviews, stayed because of the awesomeness. While pulling in Hillstone may not seem as much from the parking lot. However once you walk-in you're instantly transported away from central Orlando. Intimate lighting and seating, open kitchen, and a giant windows overlooking an amazing lake view. The food was well worth the price and portioned generously compared to other fine dining locations. The wine selection paired well with the menu, however I was not much of a fan with their cocktails. My date however loved them so take that with a grain of salt lol. After dinner we walked out back where you can spend time lounging underneath trees and a lake view which makes you forget you're in central Florida. Overall great date night or anniversary location. And make sure to ask about their daily specials, the Charred Trout was amazing.

I chose this restaurant due to its rating and location. It’s definitely an upper scale establishment, with a great location and a very sheik decor. The staff are dressed in all black entire and acting very professional, but a little in the aloof side. As I was dining alone, I choose the bar. Although it was mid-afternoon, the bar was very busy, with several noisy groups enjoying their drinks. Not the best atmosphere for fine dining, but decided to give it a try. The house wine was interesting and when I asked about one, was given a tasting. I then tried their chili, only offered on weekends. It was very impressive. That was followed by a chicken sandwich with fries. I enjoyed the food and wine, the service was impeccable and the lake view pleasant. My meal and tip came to over $50.00, the most I’ve ever paid for lunch.
