Hachimi Japanese Cuisine

This is a really great japanese spot in the Tri-Cities. It is likely the best. I didn't expect such a high-quality sushi product. On top of that, the service was excellent. Lauryn, our server, was genuine and professional and very well versed on the menu. A few times, one of the chefs from in back came out to assist lauryn and also ensure our food was satisfactory. It is rare in a casual restaurant for someone actually making your meal to come out and say hello and check on you. She did it with every table in the restaurant. We will be back and I will recommend this japanese place to others.

I’m always really impressed with this place and am always sure to stop in for the lunch special whenever I’m in Johnson City. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is classy, but casual, and the service is exceptional. I wish we had a place like this In Asheville, NC! Come check it out y’all! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

First time trying this restaurant. Their online ordering system was easy to use and the built in modifiers are awesome, but the food was just okay. We ordered the hibachi chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was borderline overcooked and the rice had too much soy sauce in it for our tastes. The veggies on the side were pretty tasty though!
