Grounded Coffee Shop Food Factory

2 stars because the staff was friendly. I ordered a sandwich, side salad, and hot coffee. Waited for quite a bit (there were no other customers inside, which I should have taken as a hint). The chef came ro my table to let me know that the person who took my order didn't know that they were out of chicken if I'd like to choose something else kn the menu. He was kind and apologized for the inconvenience. I said I would do a breakfast sandwich, but he said they couldn't because they didn't have the pan to cook eggs in... a pan. He said he couldn't cook an egg because they didn't have a PAN. I got a refund on the food items, but the coffee came out right when I was told about the issue with the food. Coffee had grounds in it and was warm instead of hot. Again, 2 stars because the staff was nice, but the whole scenario just seemed off to me. I'd proceed cautiously.

I have to say after reading some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant. However, I was greeted by a great young man behind the counter. Who was both pleasant and helpful. He help me make a decision from the menu, (which I was not a single bit disappointed. I thought the decor was bold, but very chic. Something that will cause this place to stick out in my mind. I’ve left many bad reviews, and not hesitant to do so. However after my experience. I wonder if the other reviews were possibly just grouchy people? My visit was the complete opposite! Thank you for the great coffee and pleasant stop in our travelswill come again

We went on a Saturday morning and we’re standing in line behind two other people with about 5 people waiting for their orders. After 20 min the people in front of us left, and no one has come to take the first person’s order still. We realize they have a single person working behind the counter and he was still making several people’s orders. We gave it another 15 min then left. What business has a single person working on a Saturday morning??

I don’t usually write bad reviews but the straight espresso was an undrinkable mess. I did not have any of the food and the guys behind the counter were nice enough, so no issues there. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
