Graze Coffee - Reservar uma mesa

We used to come here quite a bit but something has changed and there’s a reason why we choose other spots now. We thought we would try it again this weekend to see if anything had changed, unfortunately it has gotten worse. Walked in, ignored, staring straight at me and kept up their conversation. Was asked to “seat myself”. Menus now have big permanent marker lines crossing off all the things they don’t offer anymore, was not offered any water for ourselves or our dogs that they clearly saw. Waited a long time for food which was mediocre to say the least, I couldn’t even finish my Eggs Bene as it was like soup on my plate bacon was still ham, eggs watery, toast thinner than a sheet of paper. Coffees came out 5 minutes after food arrived, cold, no sugar on the table, no spoon to stir coffee. When walking out, still talking amongst themselves and ignored us leaving, didn’t ask about food quality once. Truly shows they don’t care about food, atmosphere or customer experience, sucks because this used to be the place to be.

Takes a lot to write a bad review, but this was honestly one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had. The bacon was charred on the outside and then almost raw on the underside due to multiple pieces being stuck together and not cooked properly. The iced coffee had chunks or solidified milk through it and the service was so slow it wasn’t worth the hassle of ordering another. Bacon and eggs which should be the easiest meal to cook was awful and drizzled in balsamic vinegar to try and make it more appealing? Ended up making it sour, what a shame!

Seriously wanted to love this place so much, it’s a beautiful set up and is in a nice cosy spot. However after coming 2 weekends in a row I experienced the slowest service I have ever had from a cafe. Everything came separate, one coffee wasn’t processed with the order, and I waited about 30 minutes for my croissant which I had to chase up 3 times. The team here is quite young which is fantastic to see but they just don’t seem to be working with any sense of speed or urgency. Until the service gets better we will be looking for another cafe.

The food is so delicious and beautifully presented.
