Ordered $140 worth of food and desserts since it was our first time there, it is out of the way and we are big foodies! We did not get the mozzarella sticks we ordered. Chicken Parm with papardelle was okay; I bit into a chicken bone : not fun. Food was good but average for the price. Cream puff tasted strongly of soap and was very stale; a cream puff should be soft and pillowy, especially for $13. Chocolate cake was moist but average. Savory cannoli as well as garlic knots were very doughy. I might try it again for dine in to see if it is better. Overall I'd say it's about a 5/10.
Unless you're a regular, I guess they don't want you to come. We walked in and were not greeted. No signage as to whether I'm supposed to seat myself or wait. Staff are doing their thing just walking by as we stand there wondering what to do. There's a big board when you come in with the menu on it, but apparently, you're in the way if you want to actually use it. Needless to say, after being told to grab a paper menu and not have a clue what any of the food looks like, we decided not to dine there.
Some of the most delectable food I have ever been allowed the privilege to consume in my long lofty years. I really enjoyed the incredible and impeccable food that has been so graciously served to me at this establishment. The service was good, but unfortunately, they were slow and inconsiderate. Being next to sloans Lake makes the experience while I consume my fortune meal, very incredible and lavish.
The definition of a family joint. Family photos line the walls, there’s a back room with a play pen for grandkids it’s awesome. Super casual and very delicious food with huge portion sizes. Not to mention the baked goods! So beautiful and clearly made with love. Definitely come here, it’s a true example of a family restaurant! So lucky to have some of these kinds of places still around!
