Grain de Sel - Reservar uma mesa

We stayed en route in Dole and booked this restaurant by recommendation. We were certainly not disappointed. The restaurant was supported by local french people, always a good sign, families and couples, all were made most welcome as were we, the only English people there. The menu is not extensive, a good thing in my view, and the food was delicious, beautifully presented and cooked, and excellent value. Service was not rushed, but not too slow. A good idea to book ahead, as several people were turned away whilst we were there, and the restaurant was certainly full.

A popular restaurant, excellent value and quality. A small menu (which is good) as all ingredients are seasonal and fresh, prepared beautifully and served with a smile. A good idea to book. On line booking available which works well.

This restaurant serves at a very reasonable price, top cooking. The waitresses were helpful with their suggestions. We visited in sommer and found the terrace the only drawback (unfriendly), but inside the rooms appeared much better

We had the gourmet menu 7 courses for 50€ and we were served really great food and the service were very good. Good wine and food for reasonable price total price for 6 people including 4 bottle of good wine.

That review may be an example of expectations set too high. We were somehow disappointed by the service level and the savors mix. Should try again before giving a firm advice.
