Gomen - Reservar uma mesa

I hate to go to a place where I see stellar reviews and realize that the reviews are fake or by people who don't know what quality food is. I ordered the kakuni ramen with a side dish of braised pork over rice. When we arrived it was pretty dead for a late lunch. Most orders were takeout. Two guys servicing the front. Ramen had a lot of toppings. Soup broth was mediocre. Then the braised pork over the rice was so salty and dry. It was just way overcooked. What a disappointment. I don't like to have them take it back but it was so sad. Then I asked for a substitute and they charged me a whole other new side dish. Seriously. Your quality of food is wack and not edible and you're still gonna charge me? Obviously my first and last time here.

Enough parking. Ambiance casual with average noise. We were hungry after a day of shopping and here we are We started with fried squid. Each pieces are large enough for two bites. The sauce was a much needed addition and was flavorful. The deep fried gyoza was good. We decided to order another one. The broth for the ramen was nice and the noodles had great texture. The half fried rice was our least favorite dish. When it arrived, it was on the cold side. Flavor wise ,it was lacking in my opinion, and the rice itself tasted old. We also had the Katsu Curry. It's nothing like Japan, but it was good. Probably the best dish of the night. Service and waiting time was quick. Just need the servers to smile more. Will come back for sure.

Gomen just released a new menu so I had to check it out! Some items on the new menu are the Dungeness crab ramen and the Galbi ramen and they're both fully loaded! The Dungeness crab ramen comes with clams and shrimp, and are super fresh. The Galbi ramen comes with 6 enormous pieces of short ribs. The meat is so tender that it falls off the bone The portions on these bowls are crazy too! It can easily feed 3-4 people The restaurant itself is nice and cozy. I love that they play anime on the tv and how they have manga right showcased in the front. Service is top notch too. Definitely check them out when you're in the area!

I can't believe I never left an evaluation for gomen. I've been here for over a decade and it's like my top 3 rammen places. her mabo Tofu-Ramen is my favorite and I have not seen it sells anywhere else. they have their fried rice, which I also love, if they like vinegar, they should try it on the fried rice, it is so good. her service is also great and the young who work there are super sweet and are just good vibes all around. Last time I came in, they played avatar the last airbender, it was perfect.

hot raves on a rainy day is just the right combination! the smoker was super filling and the broth supplemented the noodles. it is a bit sad that the manga area was closed because of kovid, but overall it was a great experience.
