Goa Tandoori - Reservar uma mesa

Used this takeaway so often, the owner is generally friendly but the guy who takes the telephone orders Mr Hello thank you ... lacks the use of thought process. Ordered butter chicken like I have for over two years the only change being the spice level. Sadly ordered butter chicken and this was flooded with butter (ghee) so much it smelt revolting, the colour was yellow when it was supposed to be red. Rang back and unfortunaltey the same guy picks the phone up and starts arguing with me stating that different people like it differently. I said I have ordered this many time before altering only the spice levels nothing else but would he listen to reason? Very reluctantly he excepted to change it. I went back to the place and he did really want to consider how silly he was being. The replacement was red in colour (red dye) and tasted much better similar to the way it has been ordered everytime before. Silly man lost a long term customer over what?

Sadly after the palaver of my last visit which resulted in a 1 star I idiotically thought Mr Thank you goodbye would be a changed person. Not so, on entering the premises Mr Thank you goodbye greeted me with a sinister smirk. Paid and walked out. On arriving home noticed that there was no popadom no salad no chutney just the box standard meal. The chicken was over done, new chef? Place is going downhill as this is not as busy as it used to be. Typically small minded attitude of a moron...would not walk through this guys takeaway ever again.

We have ordered from Goa fro about 5 years now with no problem but ordered on 1st May and was very disappointed the chicken tikka masala was tasteless chicken korma much the same ordered two starters which were not much better time for a change I think bye for now Goa

Ordered for the 1st time from here and all in all, was poor. The butterflyed prawn starter resembled the driest schnitzel going!! Once I removed the batter was left with abit of mush, actual no prawn in it. Terrible Indian.

We seem to have tried everywhere lately for a decent curry and felt let down every time, tonight we found the best. Nothing pretentious just a great curry. Goa Tandoori is simply the best by far!
