Gasthof Rose - Reservar uma mesa

Before a doctor's visit to Kaufbeuren we looked for a good restaurant for lunch food and landed in the Brauhaus Gasthaus ROSE. It is located on the fruit market 2 directly opposite the monastery. Rustic ambience with modern charm and traditional cuisine awaited us throughout warm. We were kindly welcomed. Since it was a bit early, there were still very few people in the restaurant, which soon changed. We ordered 2 x the natural rose light, which on our request was not brought too cold to the table. As an appetizer, my wife ordered a roasted soup and I ordered a liver dumped soup. Then only for me the offered pork roast with dumplings and blue herb. Very tasty but the portion was so big that my wife also had to help, although she had no hunger.Sun terrace in front of the house quite filled.

Then only for me the offered pork roast with dumplings and blue herbs. Very tasty, but the part was so big that my wife had to help, even though she had no hunger. Sun terrace in front of the house quite filled.

meanwhile we were almost alone in this rather big restaurant. we were wondering if we had missed something that the other one had knoow. at least we ordered and were immediately served our meals and they were big and tasted very good. the price was also ok.

Tried multiple times to dine at this bar/restaurant only to find them closed or closing as early as 6:30 pm on a Friday (other days too) . . . not a place you can count on for dinner.

We had an EXCELLENT lunch here. I was here more than 25 years ago when last in Germany so it was nice to visit again. We had excellent leberknoedel soup....
