Gasthaus Weidinger

We tripadvisored this place randomly as we were pretty late and wanted to have something typical Austrian on the way and would be close to highway. Place is nice, on the corner of quiet street, after entering the first impression is not that fancy, but when you go to the back, there is lovely place to sit in the backyard. Cosy, romantic, for friends, lot of green, trees, great! Service was smiling and everything was possible, although be ready for heavy Austrian food and try to eat it before 9pm as we did not :-) They have super big range of Schnitzels, we went for Chicken Grillplate (meat was too salty maybe because of marinade) and Bauern Pfandl (highly recommended.) As a side dish French fries and Radlers (very good and strong taste.) Dinner for 2 with main course and one drink was about 30€.The one and only cons were weird smelly women toilets. All in all, great place to chill out either with friends or family and have fun.

typical local Austrian with menu only in German. we chose with the help of the translator two schnitzel one with ham and melted cheese on and mushrooms and another with pepper. very good, but require considerable athletic preparation to finish the dishes. Absolutely competitive price!
