I was lucky enough to visit here in 1975 and although Poppendorf has changed some, I found Gibiser's to be as good or better during our 2013 trip. The staff is outstanding and the daily 'menu' luncheon special was second to none. We enjoyed the fish very much and sitting outside was wonderful. If you ever have the chance to eat here, be sure to say hello to Paul and his father Hans. I'll be back!

If you ever have the chance to eat here, you should say paul and his vater hans absolutely hello. I'm back!
Not far from the border we found this lovely restaurant. It was packed with locals which is always a good sign. Nice atmosphere, friendly service and good food we have been really satisfied with this place. Our schnitzel was tasty, big and cheap. Highly recommended.
