we were with the whole family for lunch in the gasthof fischerwirt. and tastefully the kitchen could not quite convince. the food is served beautifully - for the eyey top, but the dishes are drowned in fat sauces. the portioning many mostly very small, with no dish below €15. for a steak plate, with 3 small (actually small) pieces of meat you pay 18,90. the Top-Wirt 2016 award he did not deserve our opinion.

the fisherman is one of our tribes. super regional cuisine, very appealingly arranged and friendly served. on the map is really something for everyone. here there is what you find very rare, fish all over with fresh crumbling seasoned and fried, a dense. in summer every Thursday in the generous dining garden (with a large children's playground) a barbecue takes place. just top.

we drove from steyr to kronstorf and thaling to graveyards where we arrived at the fisherman. the food was excellent but not cheap. but it was an experience.
