"After a visit to the Charlottenburg Palace we needed a quick drink. All the nearby places are right on a very busy noisy road. If you walk for just a few minutes you'll find this charming leafy place which is part of a small park. Lovely neighbourhood cafe."

A pleasant café with excellent service and a better than average atmosphere. The café sits on the edge of a small restored park which dates from the 19th century but which was abandoned through most of the second half of the 20th. Unlike the more typical and crowded, bustling cafés of Berlin this one is on a side street. It is quiet and more likely to attract locals than tourists. Good coffee. Decent food. Lovely park. Of you are in the area (perhaps visiting the chateau) make the short walk and drink something here. Good for couples and families.

Situated next to a park the setting is pretty, we had brunch and was great to find bagels on the menu as they are more difficult to find here in Berlin. The service was great and the staff were all friendly and helpful, the only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is that it is more expensive than other cafés that we have been to.
