if in bochum try not to miss franz ferdinand. this Austrian restaurant is one of the best in the city. the food and service are both excellent. I would recommend to try the white carving (it is called “veal escalope” in the menu), although all nets. are great! do not miss imperial-smarrn Austrian type a desert, a fluffy shrunk pancake served in a pan. the part is really big, for two or even three people. book your dinner at franz ferdinand in advance, the place is always full of people.

ff serves very fine traditional Austrian foods. the wee are excellent and the service is very attentive and friendly, despite the corona measures. we sat outside on a hot summer night and it was wonderful. highly recommended!
