We ordered the baby Lamb Chops (YUM, Romanian steak, and Fried Shrimp. All our meals were delicious and honest, as good as any restaurant. Beautiful people and very friendly service. Our first review last year: Friendly service, delicious food.... we had the Deluxe Cheeseburger... delicious... it was served on a small round (pizza? Tray and the frits were in a small deep fry basket?. really cute presentation. .. there are many places where you could have lunch, this place is definitely worth a second trip. .. really enjoyed it. .
This was my first time at this diner. The staff there are quite courteous and professional. I felt bad not leaving a tip as I was rushing to do an exam . The cleanliness inside and outside of this place was very impressive. I felt very comfortable and there was nothing to hinder me from eating there. However, the food is not my kind of food which is probably a cultural thing. I am accustom to spices, adequate salt, flavour, etc. It wasn't a big deal as my hunger got satisfied for the time being.
Love come here and order the Matzah ball soup and a club sandwich. The waiters are nice and will adapt/ replace the orders with minimal effort to your needs. The atmosphere is art-deco and they play tons of old to respect the blossom of the classic fifty Diner's Vibe. It is a must to stop when from Long Island and please enjoy this good diner.
