Forman's Fish Island

Nice food and good value, my main criticism is that the restaurant was huge and entirely empty apart from two tables, and they put us right in the middle of the other two tables, elbow to elbow. It meant that there was no privacy and felt really uncomfortable in such a large space, and really ruined the meal. No one else arrived in the time that we were there, so it was very strange surrounded by some many empty tables and basically sat with a bunch of strangers in an empty restaurant. We only visited for brunch, I would recommend asking to sit somewhere else if this happens to you.

five stars eating, service was slightly missing. the fish dishes were perhaps the best I had in london. great aromas and perfectly boiled and plated. try the smoked salmon plate. beautiful ambiente and decor to impress. the service was only in order that were mistakes: slow refilling on drinks, the waitress who cleaned the table, did not clean it thoroughly and a plate remained. but with the food I would return anyway! another strange thing, there were filled jars of popcorn on the bar leave sure that the going stale and discarded when nobody sits on the bar?

those who know me well will know that two of my favorite life-life-life-life-eating are living-life-life-eating. So today I'm going to be smiling. but not just any old laugh; lachs smoked from Britain's oldest fish smokery, where smoked salmon is serious business. h. forman son (formans fish island) is east ends lasts smokehouse, founded by harry forman in stepney in 1905 and is today led by its great lance forman on fish island in hackney wick.

this restaurant has the best selection of freshly smoked salmon in the whole of the country. every bite will definitely long for more of this Umami delicacies. there are so many other things to choose from fish to meat, desserts to fine weeping. personally, I would go for a salmon starter to start with just to start their taste buds cold. then meat and finish: a dessert. 10/10 would recommend

very nice restaurant, very friendly staff and eating was excellent, we even had a quick visit in the smoked salmon factory. definitiw will go back. I highly recommend this place.
