forgans has such a great mood, fabulous interior design, we found the personal really friendly and with efficient service know. the starters were the stars, especially my friends tempura prawns, and decent haggis bon bons! Unfortunately, the main courses did not fully meet our expectations, the bark cake, was lacking in taste, and was served with hunks of brot and veg, which was not very inspiring. my friends seafood mac n cheese was in their words good enough' but not the wow taste I expected. definitiw would go back because it is such a great place. it even ran on a Sunday night!

really enjoyed our meal during the stay in st. andrews, the decor is great and eating was very delicious. was huge, I felt like I would rather have left smaller and not something imperfect. too full for dessert and really wanted the sticky toffee pudding. would go back definitiw.

my wife and I went to lunch yesterday and had a pleasant meal that makes our expectations wet. we have already eaten here while the service was slow, the food was good.

the lamb was delicious, soft, tasty and perfectly cooked. a great restaurant with lively flair and traditional Scottish dance. highly recommended.

lobster bisque is broth. fish and chips are very good. beef stew was average.
