Fogo de Chao Bethesda

I have had positive experiences during my previous visits to this restaurant, until the present moment. We made a request to our waiter and several other employees for an additional side of bananas, and were informed that it was forthcoming. However, this request was not fulfilled and we waited for more than 40 minutes, without exaggeration. As a result, we had to leave without receiving the side. Given the prices charged by this restaurant, it is unacceptable to receive such poor service and to be provided with false information regarding the arrival of our order, especially when it takes more than 40 minutes to fulfill a simple request for a side item.

We had the single cut of steak, not the whole experience, and let me tell you, it was some of the best beef I have ever had. Add in the market table and sides, and it's worth far beyond the menu price. Even better than a venerable NYC steakhouse I was just at that was 5 times the price. Plenty of food, you won't leave hungry. Excellent service too. Just one thing--even though everyone does it, do not street park outside the restaurant for dinner. Police were giving $70 parking tickets. The nearby garage is 2 hours free.

The service was quite uneven. This is not a cheap place to eat and I expected a smoother process. There were long delays sitting us despite our reservation, drinks were ordered on account, but never arrived. Several waiters who did not seem to know who had the responsibility for our table. The food is still quite good overall, but not sure that I would get back given the cost/value.

Famous meat was not great! Service was long. Drinks took more than 10 minutes. The waiter did not observed the needs on time. The salad bar was good
