Gluten free everything! I have only tried the Mill Valley location so far but understand the San Anselmo site is also completely gluten free. There is a great variety to chose from and weekly specials as well. They are very busy, often with a long line, and I tend to order a lot because don't live nearby. They put everything in a taped box which makes checking the contents difficult because there's not really space to do so. I've found twice some items I've paid for were missing. It is frustrating to find out later that the order is incomplete. Each time I reached out to them and they credited my account but I would have preferred to have items I ordered and not to have to take the extra time and effort to rectify the situation. I'll try to check my order before rushing home in the future: I really enjoy the food and my family appreciates they have delicious vegan options. I wish they would build a location in the East Bay
Flour Craft is a delight! Everything is gluten free and it is just a given, no big deal. I love that. We tried the chocolate chip banana bread, the raspberry almond scone and the blueberry lemon scone. All were moist, delicious and not overly sweet. Perfect. The large latte coffee actually has 4 shots, not just lots of milk. The green tea was wonderful. The staff were warm and professional. We sat outside in the sunshine to enjoy our treat. Our new favorite spot!
I knew Flour Craft Bakery had gluten free options, but none of the pastries were labelled as such, so I asked the guy at the counter which ones were gluten free. Imagine my delight when he said ALL of them! I chose the Vegan Crumble Bar (so delicious, would never guess it was GF) and my mom got the Signature Orange Polenta Cake (also fantastic). I didn't get a beverage, but my parents said that both the espresso and hot tea were excellent. Would happily return!
Have been going here for years and love the food but PLEASE fix the burnt taste of the espresso. Have only had a *very* small handful of experiences where the espresso wasn’t burnt. Still giving 5 stars bc I do love this place but please please please fix the espresso.
