delicious pizza, mix of basic toppings was perfect. as a vegan I wish that more of the pizza options could be vegan. dessert was also delicious. had the best vegan cookie I ever tasted! love how they support other small ultra local businesses as well as organic flour, chemical free veg, where possible and have sustainability in the core of what they do. it's too expensive for me for more than an occasional tasty bite, although I would treat myself definitiw again. updated by previous review on 2021-06-20
Delicious pizza, blending base to toppings was perfect. As a vegan, I wish more of the pizza options could be vegan. Dessert was also delicious. Had the best vegan cookie I ever tasted! Music was unhappy loud. The waitress was curly and unfriendly. The pizzas are too expensive. Did not taste coffee, was weak and watery. The food is creative and delicious. Some of the other employees were really excited to chat with and offer information about the unique drinks and food. The beverage menu is the highlight. The menu is not clear and could be easier and easier to understand. I hope the place finds firmer feet, but at the moment it seems as if the staff is too little realized.
We had a Hackney hot vegan pizza and a Makkaroni Cheeze. The macaroni cheese was fantastic, with a crispy bread crumb and tons taste, but the pizza... Oh, wow! The best vegan pizza we ever had. The cheese was great, and the beet root was so good. Everything in all really balanced flavors and textures for both dishes. Also a wide selection of vegan-labeled wines including orange and skin contact wines that are good to see.
