The restaurant did not honor the Yelp check-in for a free beer or wine, and the employee, possibly the owner, rudely refused. The offer should be removed from Yelp. In terms of quality and quantity, if you enjoy deep-fried foods and beer, this is the place for you. The family box for $82 included 3 pieces of fish, 4 prawns, 8 calamari rings, 4 oysters, chips, potato cakes, and more. Everything was fried well and lightly breaded. They provided two homemade sauces, though the sweet chili sauce tasted store-bought. The atmosphere was a bit difficult to find in an alley, with outdoor seating and open 7 days a week from noon till 8 pm. Service was counter service, but a helpful waiter checked on us and attended to our needs. The price of $82 AUD for 5 people was considered good value, especially for light eaters. The owner should update or delete the Yelp check-in offer and congratulations on the success of their multiple locations.
