Felderer Stadl - Reservar uma mesa

We came down from the major road into Maurach because of two things. One - we were looking for the famous stone oil (Tiroler Steinöl) production and secondly to have a nice break in our long cisalpine trip. The first part of our plan we realized very soon having all possible kind of stone oil products from the local shop. Then we went to Felderer Stadl, which we remembered from our previous visit in Maurach. When we came the Cafe was already quite occupied by clients and we understood that the waiting will be more than we expected. Still we needed some rest and pause from driving and so decided to stay. The place itself is quite beautiful - surrounded by mountain peaks. Unfortunately for us the other tourists continued arrive and in very short time the Cafe was fully occupied. We got our food, but it was impossible to catch the waitress to settle accounts. It was clear that the waitress was very busy, but still we expected to have some attention, because we were sitting quite a long time at table with empty plates and dishes. So the break in the trip took much longer as expected.

it was super delicious, the prices reasonable and the portions very lush! at the first time we ordered Spinat dumplings, jägerschnitzel and cheese-pätzle, at the 2nd time again the giant schnitzel and speckgröstl! we were very happy each time. the map offers a successful selection of dishes, sugar!

simple kitchen, but tasty, cheap, great ice cup. you can be relaxed eating and chatting in a glass of red wine. the services are friendly and attentive.

Great location in the centre area of town, we found the staff to be a little abrupt
